![]() ![]() I say that because I spent many years working with the elderly population and this seriously reminded me of my days spent with dementia clients. I honestly wonder if he's smoked so much that his brain just can't process properly anymore?! More likely it's his age. He was all over the place! So much so that at one point I turned on the subtitles because I thought for sure I must be missing important info! I can usually count on him to masterfully weave all the random bits into a hilarious bigger picture, but it didn't happen this time. I did laugh a fair bit (Wendy Williams, chicken wings, his dog's vaccine status, etc.) but spent most of time confused, trying to follow the storyline. I was truly looking forward to hearing what he had to say about all that has happened over the past several years, not only because we desperately need to find the levity where we can, but also because he's always been a #realone (if not a bit "out there"). I feel sad and extremely cringy after attempting to watch whatever the heck that was! Katt has always been at the top of my list in comedy, and as a white person I have really appreciated his candor, insight and perspective on the state of the world, but this was just bizarre. I will say that he is in great shape! I cant run around and prat fall even 1/3 of what he can do! It has detracted from my image of him after such a long wait between specials. This was certainly not the best of his works for me, and I actually wish I had not watched it. Was almost a caricature of himself when he did this after almost every joke. Excessive use of the falling limp on the stage stool body language to garner a laugh and indicate the punchline when the crowd was unsure if the joke was finished. Sometimes I actually had no idea what he was ranting about (been to 300 planets?!). Kat's "truths" were stretches of logic very often, and not really funny. "truths" and "lies" themed with a massive load of "God" preaching interweaved. Occasionally I cracked a smile, but struggled to get 3/4 of the way thru the program. Like so many others I found this to be particularly unfunny. His appearances on many TV series’ and shows kept coming and her filmography kept increasing with the inclusion of titles such as ‘The Tracy Morgan Show’, ‘The Girlfriends’, ‘Cuts’ and his voice acting role in ‘The Boondocks’ is also considered as one of the best role of his career.Īpart from all that, he has also done some stand-up acts that were released on television, such as ‘Its Pimpin’ Pimpin’’, ‘Kattpacalypse’ and ‘Priceless: Afterlife’.Very disappointed in this special. Although playing that role brought notoriety to him, it was the breakthrough for him into the industry and he then made the full out of it and became part of some more notable projects such as ‘My Wife and Kids’, ‘Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore’, ‘Norbit’, ‘Epic Movie’ and ‘The Obama Effect’. However, he came into a wider notice with his recurring role in the series ‘Wild ‘n Out’. ![]() ![]() After making a name in stand-up comedy, he turned to acting and made his debut with the hit series’ ‘NYPD Blue’, a police procedural drama. He is best known to portray the role of Money Mike in ‘Friday after Next’. Katt Williams is an American stand-up comedian, rapper and an actor.
